"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
Matthew 25:40
So this morning in our last main session Louie ended it by preaching. He showed us a picture of a logo for the Chick fil a Bowl that was on the turf for the game that was in the Georgia Dome. He starts telling us that since Chick fil a was founded the different agencies that officially owned it or something had been trying to change the logo, but never ended up doing it. He then informed us that his father was the one who designed it.
He then starts to share about his father and how he was brilliant and that he was one of the best designers out there. For 10 years Louie and his wife were in Waco at Baylor ministering to college students. Then he shared that his dad had gotten really sick with a brain virus and after being in Waco for 10 years him and his wife packed up and moved to Atlanta to help his mom take care of his father.
Not long after that his dad passed away.
So Louie and his wife no longer had his father and no longer had their college kids to minister to cause they were in Atlanta. It was then that they realized they could minister not just to one college, but to all the colleges by starting the Passion conference.
Now 15 years later, after his fathers death he walked past the logo with Chick fil a on it and knows that because of a tragedy an AWESOME thing came out of it.
He said that when he went by the logo there were only like 20 people in the whole Georgia Dome and so it was pretty much just him and the logo.
Such an awesome story I know.
